Most important areas of environmental radioactivity and radioecological research are discussed in this book, including radiological characterization of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site and uranium mining sites, concentrations and distribution of natural and artificial radionuclides in soil and water, radon concentrations in dwellings and outdoor air, radiation exposures to humans and methodologies used in radioecological research, environmental monitoring and impact assessments.
